Qualificações

The Role

As a Health & Social Care Lecturer, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality Health & Social Care lessons.
• Teaching and supporting learners across a range of abilities and educational backgrounds.
• Delivering relevant vocational qualifications and curriculum content.
• Developing learners' understanding of health, wellbeing, safeguarding and care practices.
• Assessing, marking and providing constructive feedback on student work.
• Monitoring learner progress and supporting students to achieve their academic targets.
• Creating an inclusive, supportive and stimulating learning environment.
• Keeping up to date with developments, legislation and best practice within the health and social care sector.
• Contributing to curriculum development and departmental activities.

The Ideal Candidate

Our client is looking for someone who:

• Holds a relevant degree or professional qualification in Health & Social Care, Nursing, Social Work or a related subject.
• Has a recognised teaching qualification, or is willing to work towards one.
• Has industry experience within health and social care.
• Has experience teaching or delivering vocational qualifications (desirable).
• Has excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Can engage, motivate and inspire learners.
• Has a genuine passion for developing the next generation of health and social care professionals.
