Job summary

The Limes College is seeking a dynamic Hair and Beauty Instructor to plan, deliver, monitor and review Hair and Beauty courses and to ensure the efficient running of the salon. The role follows term-time hours plus INSET days and includes a fixed weekly pattern across Mon–Fri with late start/finish on some days.

The ideal candidate will hold relevant qualifications in Hair and Beauty and GCSE grade A-C, with strongHealth and Safety knowledge for vocational training and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with children, colleagues, parents and outside agencies.
• Sound knowledge of Health and Safety regulations in vocational training environments.
• Relevant qualifications in Hair and Beauty.
• GCSE grade A-C or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, monitor and review Hair and Beauty courses and manage the college salon.
• Ensure efficient running of the salon and timetables.
• Adapt quickly to changing circumstances and priorities.
