Job summary

Clarence Recruitment is seeking a Geography Teacher to join a successful Humanities Department at a Rugby school. The role covers KS3 and KS4, with an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher or an ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT) to inspire students across the key stages.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons, monitor progress, contribute to curriculum development, and play a positive role in the wider life of the school.

Qualifications

• Requires QTS or working towards it (ECTs welcome).
• Strong geography subject knowledge required.
• Excellent classroom management skills expected.
• High expectations of student achievement and behaviour; collaboration with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons for KS3 and KS4.
• Inspire students to achieve their potential through inclusive teaching.
• Monitor, assess, and support progress per school policy.
