Job summary

Qualifications

• Recent experience of teaching Geography to KS3 and KS4 across the ability range.
• Knowledge of GCSE expectations in the subject area.
• PGCE and experience of continuing professional development.
• An enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning of your subject specialism.
• The ability to inspire students to reach their individual potential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement the curriculum for Geography with effective teaching and learning.
• Monitor assessments, record and report progress to stakeholders.
• Contribute to form tutor duties if designated.
• Work as part of the Geography department to raise attainment.
