Job summary

Denholme Primary School, part of Northern Star Academies Trust, is seeking an inspiring Nursery Lead Practitioner to provide strong leadership for our early years provision. You will work with the EYFS Leader and leadership team to promote our ethos and drive continuous improvement, ensuring every child thrives within a nurturing environment.

The role offers 32.5 hours per week, term time only plus 1 week, with a strong emphasis on safeguarding, professional development and building positive

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in an EYFS setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of practitioners.
• Experience supporting children with SEND and/or EAL needs.
• Builds positive relationships with children, families, colleagues and the wider community.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong day-to-day leadership and management of the nursery.
• Collaborate with the EYFS Leader and leadership team to drive continuous improvement.
• Champion the nursery’s ethos and policies to support high achievements for all children.
