Job summary

Cambrian Learning Trust is seeking an Early Years Lead Practitioner to join our team. You will lead initiatives to raise standards in EYFS across our Trust schools and mentor staff through joint planning and assessment.

Working with the Director of Education and Head Teachers, you will deliver twilight INSETs, conduct learning walks and book scrutiny, and share best practice to drive continuous improvement across the Trust.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified teacher with proven teaching excellence.
• Experience leading high-performing EYFS settings.
• Strong leadership with ability to inspire and develop others.
• Knowledge of current Ofsted frameworks and commitment to improving outcomes for young learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to improve EYFS teaching and learning across all Trust schools.
• Support school improvement activities such as lesson observations, learning walks, and book scrutiny.
• Deliver staff development sessions, including twilight INSETs.
• Model outstanding practice and mentor teaching staff through joint planning and assessment.
• Facilitate collaboration and share best practice across the Trust.
