Job summary

Randstad Education in Corby is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school department from September 2026. You will teach English Language and Literature to students across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE) and contribute to high-quality classroom practice.

With QTS and a passion for developing literacy, you will plan engaging lessons, assess progress, and collaborate with colleagues to support student achievement in a friendly, supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ideally with experience teaching the UK curriculum within a secondary school environment.
• A strong passion for teaching English Language and Literature and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• The ability to manage a classroom environment and ensure students are well behaved and engaged.
• The flexibility and professionalism to step into the role with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Engaging English Lessons across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE) for different year groups.
• Take on full teaching responsibilities including lesson planning, preparation, and marking.
• Contribute to a positive learning environment and foster inclusive classrooms.
• Collaborate with a skilled and supportive team of English professionals to share best practices.
• Uphold school policies including safeguarding, health and safety, and student welfare.
