Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching across KS3 and KS4 in English.
• Desirable: ability to teach KS5.
• Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and passion for education.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across KS3-KS4 (and KS5 where appropriate).
• Monitor progress and provide meaningful feedback to support achievement.
• Differentiate teaching to meet diverse learner needs.
• Create inclusive, inspiring classrooms and maintain high academic standards.
• Collaborate with department to sustain quality teaching and learning.
• Engage in wider school life through enrichment activities and departmental initiatives.
