Job summary

Downham Market Academy is seeking an English Teacher (QTS) to deliver high-quality lessons across KS3/KS4 and potentially sixth form. The successful candidate will plan engaging, inclusive lessons, assess student progress and collaborate on curriculum development within our Trust.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) with English KS3/KS4 knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.

• Willingness to teach sixth form.

Responsibilities

• Teach English across KS3/KS4 and contribute to sixth form lessons.
• Plan engaging, inclusive lessons and assess student progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and CPD.
• Support student welfare and uphold safeguarding standards.
