Qualifications

• Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools.
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum; GCSE English Language & Literature.
• Genuine passion for English and ability to inspire reading and writing.
• Calm, professional classroom presence and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons.
• Teach GCSE English Language and Literature across KS3/KS4, with KS5 possibility.
• Differentiate and adapt lessons for SEND and other needs.
• Assess, mark and provide constructive feedback to support progress.
• Collaborate with the English department to sustain high standards.
• Support students and build positive relationships to promote success.
