Job summary

GSL Education seeks an Early Years Teacher in Doncaster to plan and deliver EYFS-aligned activities, fostering children’s communication, language, physical, social and emotional development. You will create a caring, stimulating environment and support progress through observation and assessment.

The role requires QTS or equivalent, a strong EYFS understanding, safeguarding commitment and collaboration with staff. DBS checks on update service or new application may be required.

Qualifications

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience in Early Years is desirable.
• Strong understanding of EYFS framework.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities aligned with EYFS.
• Create a safe, nurturing learning environment.
• Support children's communication, language, physical, social and emotional development.
• Use play-based learning to encourage curiosity and independence.
• Observe and record children's progress and development.
• Adapt activities to meet individual needs.
• Build positive relationships with children and colleagues.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants and school staff.
• Communicate with parents about development where appropriate.
• Contribute to wider school activities.
