Job summary

The Protocol Group is seeking an Early Years Lecturer (EYFS Lec) in Hull to deliver high-quality teaching across Early Years and Childcare programmes. This role requires planning lessons, assessing learner work, and supporting progression within a supportive college environment.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate of GBP25-GBP30 per hour, holiday pay, and an immediate start with 35 hours per week on a temp-going basis. Experience in FE/HE is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Early Years/Childcare or related subject.
• Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• Experience delivering education in FE/HE or vocational setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching across Early Years and Childcare programmes.
• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
• Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback to support progress.
• Support students to achieve their qualifications and progression goals.
• Monitor learner attendance, achievement and overall development.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion throughout teaching and learning.
