Job summary

MiChild Group is seeking an Early Years Educator on a supply basis for Oberlin Street Nursery in Oldham. This zero-hour contract role requires Level 2 or 3 EYFS qualifications, safeguarding awareness, and a passion for early childhood education.

Shifts rotate weekly between early and late slots (7:30am–4:00pm and 9:30am–6:00pm), with good transport links and a supportive team. Offering competitive pay (£12.80–£13.25 per hour) and MiChild Benefits including 50% childcare discount, wellbeing

Qualifications

• Holds a full and relevant Level 2 Early Years or Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognised)
• Demonstrates strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
• Demonstrates robust safeguarding knowledge and awareness

Responsibilities

• Supply role with rotating between early and late shifts
• Provide high-quality early years care and education for children aged 0–5
• Maintain safeguarding and wellbeing standards in line with MiChild policies
