Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment Ltd is seeking a passionate Dance & PE Teacher to join our partnered all-through school in Milton Keynes from November 2026 on a long-term supply basis, with the potential to secure a permanent role.

The role involves planning and delivering engaging PE and Dance lessons across Primary and Secondary phases, inspiring pupils and contributing to extracurricular activities, school events, and overall sporting and performing arts life.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an appropriate teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching PE, Dance, or both within a primary, secondary, all-through, or independent school setting.
• Have a genuine passion for sport, dance, physical education, and working with children and young people.
• Be confident delivering engaging lessons across different age groups and abilities.
• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Be committed to providing an inclusive environment where every pupil can participate and achieve.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and high-quality PE and Dance lessons across Primary and Secondary phases.
• Inspire pupils of different ages to develop a lifelong love of physical activity, sport, movement and performance.
• Deliver a broad programme of PE and Dance activities appropriate to pupils' age and ability.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel encouraged to participate.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and appropriate challenge.
