Paston Sixth Form College is seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer in Criminology to join our team. You will plan and deliver engaging Criminology lessons for post-16 learners, monitor progress and provide timely intervention where required.

You will act as a form tutor, support student development, and contribute to curriculum planning while upholding safeguarding and welfare standards across the college.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in Criminology.
• Qualified teacher status.
• Post-16 teaching experience in Criminology.
• Knowledge of assessment requirements and marking CA's.
• Ability to deliver engaging and inclusive learning.
• Strong track record of supporting student achievement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding Criminology teaching to post-16 learners.
• Plan, prepare and assess learning programmes.
• Monitor student progress, attendance and achievement.
• Act as Form tutor and provide pastoral support.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and quality improvement.
• Participate in events and student recruitment activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support learner success.
