Job summary

Whaplode CofE Primary School is seeking a Class Teacher (0.4 FTE) to deliver a broad and differentiated curriculum in line with the National Curriculum. The role includes supporting pupil progress and maintaining safeguarding standards within a Christian ethos.

The successful candidate will work within a team, collaborate with Teaching Assistants and external professionals, and contribute to curriculum development and assessment practices across the school.

Qualifications

• Deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum, incorporating the National Curriculum requirements.
• Support and monitor the overall progress and development of all pupils.
• Safeguarding responsibilities and health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Directing and supervising the work of Teaching Assistants.
• Co-operation and liaison with other professionals and external agencies.
