Nova Hreod Academy is seeking a dedicated Careers Advisor to lead and deliver our careers education programme. You will help students prepare for successful transitions into further education, training and employment, working closely with staff, employers and external partners.

The role emphasizes raising aspirations, improving life chances and ensuring high-quality careers guidance for all students. A supportive team environment and opportunities for professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• A Level 6 Careers Guidance qualification (or be working towards completion).
• Experience of delivering careers guidance within a secondary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of careers education and guidance best practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to engage and inspire young people from a wide range of backgrounds.
• Experience of supporting students with progression planning and destination pathways.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver the schools careers education programme.
