Job summary

Randstad Education in Ipswich is seeking a passionate Art Teacher to join a vibrant creative arts department at a secondary school. You will nurture artistic talents and visual expression across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE) and help pupils develop confidence in experimentation.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS or QTLS.
• Proven track record of working as an Art Teacher within a UK secondary school prior.
• Excellent communication skills to inspire creative confidence in students of all abilities.
• Strong classroom and studio management techniques that encourage focus and artistic expression.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging visual arts lessons across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE).
• Own the full class responsibilities including prep, demonstrations, assessment and portfolio moderation.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive studio environment encouraging experimentation with diverse techniques.
• Exhibitions & displays of student work to celebrate achievements across the school community.
• Maintain high safety standards for printmaking, sculpture and painting materials.
