Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic Art Teacher for a welcoming secondary school in Ely. You will teach Art across KS3 and KS4, delivering a varied curriculum and inspiring students to experiment with drawing, painting, photography and sculpture while developing their artistic identity.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative Art department, contribute to curriculum development, exhibitions and enrichment activities, and support art clubs and wider school projects to

Qualifications

• Art teacher with ability to teach KS3 and KS4.
• Strong subject knowledge across Art and related disciplines.
• A formal teaching qualification with QTS (PGCE).
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons across a range of artistic techniques and media.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Encourage creativity, experimentation and independent thinking.
• Experience differentiating lessons for students of different abilities.
• Commitment to high standards of student work and presentation.
• Enthusiasm for extracurricular Art and wider creative activities.
• Legal ability to work within the UK.

Responsibilities

• Teach Art across KS3 and KS4 as part of a varied curriculum.
