Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking an inspirational Art Teacher for a full-time role at a successful secondary school in Chelmsford. You will teach KS3 and KS4 and deliver a broad curriculum across various artistic disciplines, in a well-equipped department.

The role is suitable for an experienced teacher or an ECT, with opportunities for CPD and professional development within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to teach KS3 and KS4 Art across a broad curriculum.
• Formal teaching qualification with QTS (PGCE acceptable).
• Strong knowledge of Art and Design techniques and processes.
• Good classroom management and organisational skills.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Teach KS3 and KS4 Art, delivering a broad and engaging curriculum.
• Deliver engaging lessons across a range of artistic disciplines and media.
• Join a well-resourced Art & Design department and contribute to its development.
• Support student creativity, progress and outcomes.
