Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a creative and committed Art Teacher to join a Norwich secondary school as soon as possible. You will inspire students through artistic expression, helping them develop practical skills and confidence across KS3 and KS4.

You will plan lessons introducing various techniques, artefacts, and processes, assess progress, and contribute to departmental resources. The role supports safeguarding and academic development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 Art.
• Strong knowledge of Art and Design techniques, materials and assessment.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
• Legal eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Art lessons across KS3 and KS4 and develop a balanced programme of study.
• Plan engaging lessons and support pupils of varying abilities.
• Provide effective feedback and assessment to guide student progress.
• Contribute to development of departmental resources and GCSE preparation.
