Job summary

Teaching Tomorrow is partnering with a West Oxfordshire secondary school to recruit two enthusiastic PE Teachers for a temporary role from January to July 2027. The role involves planning and delivering PE across a range of sports, supporting pupil wellbeing and encouraging active participation.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS or equivalent, have previous secondary PE experience, and bring strong classroom and behaviour management.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching PE in a secondary school.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Confident delivering a range of sports and physical activities.
• Holds QTS or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across a range of sports and activities.
• Encourage pupils of all abilities to participate and develop their skills.
• Promote teamwork, confidence and a positive attitude towards physical activity.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and well-managed learning environment.
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
