Responsibilities

• As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you'll support teachers and pupils across a range of subjects, helping to create a positive, focused learning environment. Your role will be to engage students, support their learning needs, and help maintain a smooth-running classroom.
• Support teachers with classroom activities, admin and behaviour management
• Help students stay on task, focused, and motivated during lessons
• Provide targeted one-to-one or small group support as needed
• Promote a respectful, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture
• Monitor student engagement and wellbeing
• Follow safeguarding policies and ensure student safety at all times

Experience & Skills

• Experience working with children or young people (in a classroom, care, youth work, tutoring, sports coaching, etc.)
• A positive, patient, and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness for us to process one)
• Legal right to work in the UK and currently living in the UK
