Job summary

Supply Staff Ltd is seeking a qualified Maths Teacher to cover full-time long-term positions and day-to-day supply work across Croydon. The role requires a PGCE and QTS or QTLS, with early career teachers welcome.

You will plan engaging lessons, assess progress and promote a positive learning environment, ensuring safeguarding regulations are met. DBS on Update Service preferred or willing to apply.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS certification.
• PGCE or equivalent qualification.
• Passion for teaching Maths.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Early career teachers are welcome to apply.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply.
• Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths Teacher lessons.
• Develop students' mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills.
• Assess and monitor student progress in Maths.
• Maintain positive behaviour and classroom standards.
• Collaborate with Maths Teachers and wider school staff.
