Job summary

Reed is partnering with Wakefield-area primary schools to recruit qualified teachers for EYFS, KS1, and KS2 roles. Positions include long-term, fixed-term and potential permanent opportunities across a supportive network of schools.

Ideal candidates hold QTS, have recent experience across early years and key stages, and are committed to high standards. DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one is required. Excellent pay is paid weekly with ongoing recruitment support.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and classroom management skills.
• Be committed to raising standards and pupil achievement.
• Be passionate about creating positive learning experiences for children.
• Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Contribute positively to the wider school community.
