Thales in Templecombe, UK, is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Inspector to join the Goods Inwards team. You will inspect electro-mechanical products and work packages from suppliers to ensure compliance with customer quality standards and approve products for dispatch.
Your attention to detail will support the delivery process and globally, ensuring high-quality items reach customers in the UK and overseas. This site-based role offers a competitive benefits package and 37-hour week (Mon-Thu).

Working arrangements: Site based
Working hours: 37 hours per week (4 days a week Monday to Thursday - 9.25 hours per day)
You’ll inspect electro-mechanical products and work packages received from suppliers to ensure compliance with customer contractual quality standards. You’ll approve products for dispatch, and support the delivery process. Your attention to detail will help us consistently deliver high-quality products to customers in the UK and worldwide.

Due to the nature of the work that we do at Thales, many of our roles are subject to security restrictions. This role requires you to be a UK National and achieve Security Clearance (SC) without any caveats. It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance prior to commencing employment. If approved by the MOD, a dual national from a non-ITAR country may be considered.
To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years’ residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
