RPS has an exciting opportunity for a Inspector to work within the Asset Management team, inspecting and providing feedback on the condition of assets and infrastructure to support the goals of the Water Consulting Business Stream across the UK.

About The Team:

RPS Water Consulting comprises Engineers, Modellers, and Data Analysts delivering Asset Management and Operational Strategy services to water industry clients for business planning and delivery. This industry offers challenges and opportunities requiring innovation, dedication, and teamwork.

Our Water Consultancy has prestigious AMP8 programmes leading into AMP9 and beyond, offering long-term career prospects and legacy opportunities.

About You:

As a key member, your role as Inspector is vital for delivering projects for our water industry clients. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team on various capital delivery projects.

Joining us means engaging with exciting projects, collaborating with industry leaders, and making a meaningful impact on communities and the environment in the UK.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and report on water and sewage infrastructure assets.
  • Create inspection reports covering features, health & safety, and structural conditions.
  • Develop and follow policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to team KPIs and business growth.
  • Perform inspection reporting and support asset management objectives.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Experience in Civil/Structural Engineering Inspection and water site work preferred.
  • Experience inspecting structural features, pipe bridges, and tunnels beneficial.
  • Skills in civil/structural inspection from utilities considered.
  • Proficiency in electronic reporting and MS 365 suite.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices.
