Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Inspection Engineer / Asset Integrity specialist for a permanent position in Manchester. The role involves ensuring the integrity and safety of refinery equipment through risk-based inspection (RBI) and materials & corrosion management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the company's subject matter expert in RBI, integrity management, and materials & corrosion of fixed equipment and piping.
  2. Define and implement RBI or integrity programs at chemical plants or refineries.
  3. Engage with jurisdictional agencies and company management.
  4. Enhance the effectiveness of inspection procedures.
  5. Train and develop inspectors technically.
  6. Lead the implementation of new inspection practices and ensure compliance with existing protocols.
  7. Communicate learnings and incidents across sites, industry bodies, and the company.

Candidate Experience:

  • Lead or Senior Inspection Engineer
  • Inspection Group Leader or Manager
  • Materials, Corrosion, Mechanical, or Maintenance/Plant Engineer at a site or central level
  • Engineer involved in a major project (>100M USD)
  • Senior Inspection Engineer or QA Manager on major projects
  • Reliability or Fixed Equipment Engineer
  • Inspection Section Supervisor
