Job summary

Impact Recruitment is supporting a client in Northampton for a PDI Engineer to accurately check products and complete quality audits before delivery. The role involves mechanical work, documentation and teamwork in a small environment at Brackmills.

You will prepare products, fit genuine mechanical parts and aftermarket attachments, perform fault finding, complete PDI worksheets and help with loading/unloading and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Experience with material handling in a warehouse environment.
• Hands-on mechanical servicing and repairs experience.
• Basic electrical knowledge relevant to mechanical systems.
• Proficient with hand tools and safe working practices.
• Accurate documentation and ability to complete worksheets.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of products before they leave the warehouse
• Fitting additional genuine mechanical parts to products
• Fitting aftermarket parts such as attachments, safety devices, and hydraulic services
• General fault finding and diagnostic tasks
• Ensuring excellent communication between departments

Impact Recruitment is supporting a client who is looking for a PDI Engineer to accurately check products and complete quality audits before delivery. The role involves mechanical work, documentation, and teamwork in a small environment.

Role: PDI Engineer

Location: Brackmills, Northampton

Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 8am to 4:30pm and Friday 8am to 3:30pm

Salary: £14.40 per hour

Contract: Temp to perm

Responsibilities
