DNV Inspection UK is looking for an experienced Inspection Co-Ordinator to join a growing team.

Position Description:

  • Manage customers' requirements and Request for Inspection requests (RFI)
  • Identify qualified inspectors to fulfil a specific service request
  • Submit inspectors' CVs and quotes to customers and monitor approval
  • Ensure POs are in place prior to the scope execution and monitor spend if required
  • Mobilise the inspector for the inspection visit and update the inspector’s schedule
  • Monitor milestones and deadlines for timely transmission of deliverables
  • Review inspection reports within 12 hours after receipt and issue them to the client within the specified deadline
  • Perform technical review of inspection reports, if applicable
  • Liaise with technical specialists in case of issues detected in reports or during inspection activities
  • Follow administrative deadlines to facilitate internal invoicing processes
  • Establish and maintain communication with clients, inspectors, vendors, and DNV offices where applicable
  • Use the production tool to manage activities from RFI to the approval of inspectors' timesheets and expenses
  • Support with Pre-Payment Certificates (PPCs) for customers as needed

Position Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the Inspection Coordinator role is mandatory
  • General knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry and QA/QC services is mandatory
  • Windfarm and/or Renewables inspection knowledge and experience is preferred
  • Technical engineering background is preferred
  • Degree (3 or 5 years) or equivalent in an appropriate discipline is preferred
  • Experience with large international projects within Oil & Gas and/or Renewables is preferred
  • Computer literate with good IT skills, including MS Office and Salesforce (preferred)

Location:

  • Possibly based in Aberdeen with flexibility for hybrid working
