Job summary

QED Legal Recruitment Limited is seeking lawyers in Glasgow or Edinburgh from NQ up to around 5 years' PQE who want to build a specialist finance litigation practice, including lenders and financial institutions, insolvency disputes, recoveries, and professional negligence.

You do not need to arrive as a fully formed banking disputes lawyer; a solid commercial litigation background with some financial services exposure will suit the role as you begin to specialise in this strong Scottish market.

Qualifications

• NQ–5 PQE with an interest in finance litigation and financial services disputes.
• Broad commercial litigation background welcome with exposure to lenders, insolvency-related disputes, recoveries or professional negligence.
• Willing to specialise and build a reputation in finance disputes.

Responsibilities

• Advise on disputes involving banks, lenders and financial institutions.
• Develop expertise in finance-related disputes and recoveries.
• Grow a niche in banking disputes within the Scottish market.
