Job summary

A leading accountancy practice in Manchester is seeking an Insolvency and Advisory Manager to manage a complex portfolio and lead a team. This role requires an ACA/ACCA qualification and at least 2 years of experience in corporate insolvency advisory work. The successful candidate will be responsible for compliance, budgeting, and team management while also participating in marketing activities to foster business relationships. The position offers a salary range of £50,000 to £60,000 plus benefits and performance bonus.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified with a minimum of 2 years of experience in advisory work within Corporate Insolvency.
• Experience in managing a team and handling complex casework.
• Strong networking capabilities and proactive in marketing activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of varied and complex casework.
• Oversee a team of up to 4 staff and conduct performance evaluations.
• Plan and control trading operations and manage business sales.
• Identify critical issues on cases and carry out independent reviews.
• Contribute to the firm's marketing activities and develop business relationships.
