Job summary

Confidential is seeking an Insolvency Administrator for its Doncaster or Sheffield team. The role is full-time and office-based with a salary up to £30k depending on experience.

You will manage a varied caseload, support investigations, and ensure case files are accurate and audit-ready, with direct access to IPs and Directors. Strong numeracy and Excel skills are essential; IPS experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Insolvency experience, ideally around 2 years.
• Strong attention to detail and confidence with numbers and reconciliations.
• Good Excel skills, with experience of IPS an advantage.
• Any exposure to administrations is a bonus.
• Organised and proactive, and comfortable handling sensitive queries.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload across corporate and personal insolvency procedures
• Prepare statutory reports, notices and correspondence to regulatory deadlines
• Support investigations into company conduct and asset realisations
• Reconcile case bank accounts and keep case files accurate and audit-ready
• Deal with creditors, directors, debtors, banks and legal representatives
• Spot risks early and escalating issues to keep cases compliant

Insolvency Administrator
Doncaster or Sheffield £25,000 £28,000 DOE Full-time, office-based

An established independent insolvency practice in South Yorkshire is adding two Insolvency Administrators, one to its Doncaster team and one to its Sheffield team.

This is a close-knit firm of around 25 people handling cases a year. The work is mainly CVLs, and the firm is increasingly winning more complex appointments, including administrations. You'll run a varied caseload with direct access to the IPs and Directors, which is rare at a larger firm.

What you'll do:
