Job summary

Insolvency Administrator

Doncaster or Sheffield | £22,000-£30,000 DOE | Full-time, office-based

An established independent insolvency practice in South Yorkshire is adding two Insolvency Administrators, one to its Doncaster team and one to its Sheffield team.

This is a close-knit firm of around 25 people handling #removed# cases a year. The work is mainly CVLs, and the firm is increasingly winning more complex appointments, including administrations. You'll run a varied caseload with direct access to the IPs and Directors, which is rare at a larger firm.

What you'll do

• Manage a varied caseload across corporate and personal insolvency procedures
• Prepare statutory reports, notices and correspondence to regulatory deadlines
• Support investigations into company conduct and asset realisations
• Reconcile case bank accounts and keep case files accurate and audit-ready
• Deal with creditors, directors, debtors, banks and legal representatives
• Spot risks early and escrow issues to keep cases compliant

What they're looking for

• Insolvency experience, ideally around 2 years
• Strong attention to detail and confidence with numbers and reconciliations
• Good Excel skills, with experience of IPS an advantage
• Any exposure to administrations is a bonus
• Organised and proactive, and comfortable handling sensitive queries
