An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Insitu Testing Technician to join our client's dynamic Geotechnical team. This permanent role offers the chance to work on a variety of unique projects nationwide. As a reliable, flexible, and driven individual, you will conduct specialist in-situ testing and monitoring, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Proficiency in borehole tests, gas monitoring instrumentation, standpipes, vibrating wire, pneumatic and hydraulic piezometers, hydrostatic profile gauges, sample collection, Pressuremeter testing, and high-pressure dilatometer
  • Ability to work within a small field testing team to develop skills in specialist testing techniques
  • Experience in site supervision of drilling projects, including logging samples, photographing and sub-sampling cores, and data entry
  • Familiarity with borehole permeability tests, groundwater and gas monitoring data collection, and ground displacement instrumentation
  • Proficiency in collecting water and gas samples from boreholes and maintaining accurate records
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding and experience in geotechnical industry practices
  • Excellent management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work in accordance with UKAS standards
