Job summary

Essential Employment in Central London is seeking a Reporting and Insight Officer to develop and manage MI reports, dashboards and performance tools. The role focuses on turning data into actionable insights and supporting service improvements.

You will analyse large datasets, work with service teams, and present findings to managers and external stakeholders. The position is full-time on a temporary basis with an hourly rate of £16.16 and requires strong SQL, Excel and Power BI skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve management information reports, dashboards and performance monitoring tools.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities and areas for service improvement.
• Produce regular and ad hoc performance reports for managers, senior leadership and external stakeholders.
• Work with service teams to understand reporting requirements and translate business needs into insights.
• Monitor KPIs and provide commentary on performance outcomes.
• Support development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and data visualisations.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity and governance compliance.
• Extract, manipulate and validate data from multiple systems using SQL, Excel and reporting tools.
• Assist with statutory, regulatory and compliance reporting requirements.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes and BI solutions.
