About the role

The Analytics Team is spread across the Partnership, using advanced analytics to help stakeholders solve problems and make better decisions.

As an Insight Manager, Analytics, you will be assigned to a specific business area and responsible for maximizing value from your projects in that area, including those of your direct reports where applicable. You will achieve this through your technical expertise, appropriate analytical techniques, stakeholder management, storytelling, recommendations, and timely delivery. This is a hands-on, specialist role where you will lead several significant analytical projects within your business area.

We seek Partners motivated to solve business problems with curious and pragmatic mindsets. Additionally, we value analysts who possess extensive technical knowledge and can apply these skills practically and efficiently, with excellent communication skills.

At a glance

Flexible working: This is a hybrid role, primarily based at home and the London/Head Office, with occasional visits to other locations as needed. Our team typically works from the office once a week for connection and attends key meetings as required.

Expected Salary: £59,000 - £80,000 (dependent on experience)

Contract type: Permanent

What you will do:

You will proactively collaborate with stakeholders to enhance decision-making through analytics, manage project delivery, and lead stakeholder and team engagement.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Engaging stakeholders to maximize value and improve decision-making through your projects
  • Ensuring timely delivery, impact, and quality of your team’s output
  • Identifying opportunities and promoting analytics use within your stakeholder area
  • Leading multi-stream projects, managing stakeholders, and delivering recommendations
  • Understanding your stakeholders’ commercial strategies and goals
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and becoming an extension of their team
  • Triangulating recommendations with other sources such as Research and Insight
  • Analyzing large datasets to inform decision-making
  • Supporting your team in defining appropriate methodologies
  • Ensuring clarity and impactfulness of your and your team’s output, including visualizations and presentations
  • Using visualization tools to automate processes and increase efficiency
  • Promoting a self-serve analytics culture
  • Contributing to the DI&A team and analytics profession
  • Engaging with other parts of DI&A as necessary
  • Ensuring compliance with GDPR and all risk, data privacy, and security policies
  • Investing in personal and professional development
  • Adopting a flexible approach to work and supporting colleagues to succeed
  • Sharing responsibilities and supporting Partners and colleagues

Essential Skills

  • Relevant qualification in a numerate discipline (e.g., maths, stats, data science, science)
  • Significant experience in an analytics role applying advanced techniques
  • Experience in driving business value through analytics
