Job description

As a Distribution Insight Analyst, your responsibilities will include creating, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, Excel reports, automation macros, and Tableau dashboards. You will support the Distribution & Fulfilment teams by providing insights and reports such as The Big 6, The Weekly Performance Pack, and Safety, as well as assisting the Network Planning teams with data management and process streamlining.

Your key responsibilities:

  1. Developing new reports and processes based on operational needs.
  2. Enhancing system dependencies by reducing reliance on TAP and standalone SQL Server systems.
  3. Maintaining and updating existing spreadsheets and macros without disrupting current operations.
  4. Providing contingency backups for departmental systems to prevent data loss.
  5. Supporting data sourcing for the Network Planning team as required.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Proficiency in complex SQL statements in SQL Server, Hadoop, or Teradata.
  • Experience creating data visualizations and dashboards in Tableau.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VBA, pivot tables, and slicers.
  • Ability to manipulate data and manage data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of database structures and data organization.
  • A data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and pay close attention to detail.
