Are you passionate about protecting sensitive data and preventing insider threats? We’re looking for a proactive and technically skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join my clients Insider Risk team, helping to defend a global financial organization against data loss and internal security risks.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Monitor and investigate alerts related to data loss and insider activity using industry-leading tools.
  • Act as a key point of contact for reviewing and escalating DLP incidents.
  • Work directly with business stakeholders to contain and resolve security events.
  • Help fine-tune and optimize DLP policies to improve efficiency and reduce false positives.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement across insider threat operations.
  • Contribute to the rollout and technical configuration of DLP controls across platforms.

Required experience:

  • 4+ years in a SOC, cyber operations, or incident response role with a strong focus on DLP or insider risk.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview (formerly Microsoft Information Protection) — including policy implementation and tuning.
  • Familiarity with security tooling such as SIEM, SOAR, Proxy, or Zscaler/Proofpoint.
  • Solid understanding of how business data can be exfiltrated and how to prevent it.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work across global teams and stakeholders.

Location: Surrey and 3 days onsite per week

Salary: Max £60k base + brilliant benefits
