Job summary

NHS England is recruiting for a Cyber Security Officer (Insider Risk) to join the Chief Information Security Office function. The role supports monitoring insider risk, conducting checks on staff and contractors, and promoting security education and awareness across the organisation.

You will work with the Insider Risk team and senior leads to mitigate threats and protect NHS England’s networks and data. The successful candidate will need to collaborate with Data Protection Officers,

Qualifications

• Experience with insider risk investigations and data protection awareness.
• Ability to interpret monitoring data and identify behavioural indicators.

Responsibilities

• Monitor insider risk activity and provide initial advice on security measures.
• Assist with investigations of insider risk incidents and pre-employment screening.
• Support the Insider Risk team and stakeholders with risk mitigations and communications.
