We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Inside Sales Support Specialist to join our Solutions division and contribute to our growth and success.

Job Summary:

The Inside Sales Support Specialist will support our sales efforts and drive business growth. Based in High Wycombe, UK, or Italy, reporting to the Sales Director for Automation and Science Solutions, you will assist sales managers across the EMEA region with activities such as identifying new opportunities, supporting sales and marketing, managing demo assets, writing tender proposals, and supporting trade shows and events.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Identify potential customers and develop a sales pipeline using market intelligence, online tools, and research skills.
  2. Engage proactively with stakeholders across sales, marketing, manufacturing, product management, and licensing to streamline operations.
  3. Generate leads through trade shows, follow-up calls, and other prospecting activities.
  4. Collaborate within the team to enhance account planning, customer centricity, and satisfaction.
  5. Identify decision makers within businesses and communicate with the sales team to support targeted sales efforts.
  6. Record customer interactions and information in the CRM system.
  7. Manage internal orders and processes related to projects and large opportunities.
  8. Manage sales accounts across Europe, including occasional travel.
  9. Participate in trade shows and partner events.
  10. Handle CRM and price list management, logistics, and planning for demo assets in the EMEA region.
  11. Qualify French and Italian tenders and proactively manage submission assets.

Job Qualifications:

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Over five years of international presales support experience.
  • At least five years in high-tech capital equipment sales/support.
  • Preferably a university degree in engineering.
  • Certifications in related technologies are a plus.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and business areas.
  • Fluent in English and French; additional languages like German or Spanish are advantageous.
  • Strong project management, sales, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in proposal writing, presentations, demonstrations, forecasting, and closing sales.
  • Ability to identify and secure long-term business opportunities.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office; CRM, PBI, and SAP knowledge are pluses.

Core Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience.
  • Experience with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, PBI, and SAP is beneficial.
  • Strong commercial acumen and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in French and English; additional EMEA languages are a plus.

This role is supported by Teledyne FLIR Commercial Solutions and reports directly to the Science/Automation EMEAI Sales Director.
