About Our Client

Our client is a leading provider of a prestigious Finance qualification, and are part of a gigantic, global leader in Financial Services institution.This role sits in a specific Development team tasked with taking qualifications and courses to market, and you will be supported by a close knit team of operators in London (HQ), New York and Singapore.

Job Description

You will be following up on leads - from Marketing - whilst keeping an ear to the ground on business development opportunities, selling the Financial qualification / course programme to Financial Services professionals. Lead management will be key, as will developing and honing your skills to comprehensively talk prospective buyers through all details of the offering - the qualification comes at a cost, but is hugely beneficial to Finance professionals and so a consultative sell is required.

  • Manage and grow your sales pipeline, primarily through phone sales, email and LinkedIn messaging to your marketing-generated leads
  • Sell complex solutions to a range of financial services professionals and aspiring professionals, including pitching to senior level finance executives
  • Drive attendance in online information sessions and leverage those sessions to generate sales
  • Build strong, value-added relationships with Alumni to generate referrals
  • Participate in and follow up with attendees of conferences and talks (both online and in London) run by the business
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing, Operations and Institute teams
  • Attend industry events and conferences as required
  • Track sales activity on relevant CRM systems

The Successful Applicant

Our client is to looking to hire a consummate sales professional, someone who enjoys and is highly skilled at pitching, negotiating and closing. Although a vast number of leads will be generated for you, our clients wants you to be someone who has their ear to the ground on self-developed business opportunities.Ideally you will have sold courses / qualifications / programmes / education / training offerings and enjoy consultatively selling / explaining the benefits of these offerings to end users. Bonus points if the offering you have sold is linked to Finance / Financial Services!

  • Proven B2C experience in courses / qualifications / programmes / education / training, ideally. A delegate sales background also interesting
  • Ability to sell in a high volume, metrics driven environment
  • Excellent lead management skills
  • Proven experience in sales of either technical "off the shelf" qualifications or training to individuals or corporate clients in the financial services industry - desirable
  • Proficiency in phone sales and using videoconferencing (Zoom / Teams, or similar)
  • Excellent presentation, conversational and writing skills

What's on Offer

Our client is looking to pay c.£40-50k Base Salary dependant on experience with Bonus / Commission OTE to be discussed at interview.Hybrid working encouraged and City of London office location.I look forward to hearing from you!
