The role

In your role as Inside Service Sales your mission will be to maximise the sales and profitability of the parts and service business across the territory by promoting sales of spare parts and services to new and existing customers whilst working closely with the rest of the sales team to maximise service opportunities. You will also support the customer care service team to ensure orders are processed correctly as well as dealing with any customer queries. This is a fantastic role for someone who wants a career in sales.

We are ideally looking for someone to be at our Chessington office 5 days a week but we're open to discussing hybrid options.

Reporting directly into the BLM VTS for Leybold N&E, you will be empowered to make a difference whilst also given the support and opportunity to develop your skills.

What we expect from you:
  1. Qualifications in a technical, science or engineering related subject is preferable, educated to degree level is desirable
  2. Good influencing and presentation skills
  3. A demonstratable track record of Sales success and skills is preferable (ideally within the industrial sector) but attitude and willingness to learn is essential
  4. Direct selling experience and negotiation skills
  5. Strong interpersonal and customer development skills
  6. Ability to work as part of a team, or to lead a team in the execution of an account or territory strategy
  7. Good commercial awareness
  8. Ability to influence and engage with others in pursuit of business opportunities
  9. Ability to create problem resolution plans and drive to conclusion
