Job summary

Fike Corporation in London, United Kingdom, seeks an Inside Sales Engineer EP to be the commercial and technical point of contact for customers and partners across Europe. You will support the sales team and Field Service Engineers with service contracts, maintenance and service interventions.

You will combine technical understanding with commercial skills to ensure customers receive fast, professional, and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through a combination of technical and commercial experience.
• Experience in inside sales, sales support or service support in technical/industrial environments.
• Good technical understanding and ability to interpret customer applications.

Responsibilities

• Handle and follow up on service requests from customers, sales and Field Service Engineers.
• Prepare quotations based on customer requirements and technical information.
• Proactively follow up quotations by phone, email and video calls.
• Monitor service contracts and maintenance schedules and contact customers when action is required.
• Ensure Field Service Engineers have all necessary information before an intervention.
• Create and maintain customer contacts, quotations and orders in Salesforce (SFDC).
• Ensure correct follow-up of changes, additional work and any required credit notes.
• Work closely with Regional Sales Managers and Field Service Engineers.
• Contribute to a strong customer-first approach and build long-term relationships.

Your responsibilities

About you

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through a combination of technical and commercial experience.

Experience in inside sales, sales support or service support, preferably within a technical or industrial environment.

Good technical understanding and the ability to understand customer applications and requirements.

Analytical, accurate, proactive and solution-oriented.

Strong communication and commercial skills.

Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.

Good IT skills; experience with Salesforce/SFDC is a plus.

Experience reading electrical and mechanical drawings or working with industrial safety systems is an advantage.
