This position provides Inside Sales Support (ISS) to the Regional Sales Managers (RSM) and their customers with sales reports, sales presentation material along with managing the customer purchase order process from intake to shipment. Responds immediately and effectively to management requests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare product usage, ranking and gap reports, sales presentation material, picture quotes and price quotes.
- Provide select customers with order flow reporting.
- Maintains files and reports on key account sales trends to reflect historical and current ordering activity to assist with future orders.
- Monitor order intake, ship dates, delivery dates, fill rates and back orders. Facilitate back order shipment with stock order for warehouse.
- Assists sales department in developing and implementing sales reports, strategies and objectives to meet sales goals and customer needs.
- Acquires and maintains up to date trend info, supply projections, supply disruption potential and any other conditions affecting supply, price or supplier performance and services.
- Works closely with applicable internal departments to troubleshoot all issues pertaining to order and service disruption and provide suggestions and action plans to ensure successful resolutions.
- Working closely with sales representatives and customers to resolve their questions & concerns in a timely manner.
- Assist with inbound consumer calls and email.
- Complete new item set up forms and quote up-loads as needed from Sales Management
- Departmental administrative backup support (fill-in for absent co-workers)
- Mailing/contact list upkeep for all RSMs and customers.
- Provide Sales Management with Sales related reports as needed. Manage Price File rollouts.
- Other duties/projects as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications and Knowledge
- Working knowledge and market positioning of Wilmar, LLC branded products
- Under Sales Management guidance; the ability to understand objectives to develop an effective and compelling sales data and presentation for the presenter
- Ability to build strong customer and staff relations with integrity, care and compassion
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Self-motivated and the ability to work in a team environment
- Solution based mindset for any adverse situation, roadblocks and/or potential opportunity for innovation in services and/or products
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to respond to common directions. Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Ability to effectively present information.

- Communicate regularly with supervisor about Department issues
- Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload
