Job description

We are recruiting for 2 full-time permanent vacancies for a large employer based in Kirkby In Ashfield.

The hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm.

Primary Purpose of Position

To assemble product on a right first-time basis in line with priorities and targets set by Cell Leader.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Setting press to correct height for individual batches of work
2. Press fitting insulators into shells and applying epoxy resin according to the route card instructions.
3. Fitting hardware into shells using specific tooling/presses as indicated in route card instructions.
4. Hand marking piece parts by writing part numbers directly onto metal surfaces.
5. To operate label printing machines and print labels using Wintotal.
6. Checking for shell damage/machining faults
7. Inspecting all work completed by Operators is within design tolerances and free of contamination.

5. To be prepared to undergo training as and when required

Previous experience within an assembly role would be an advantage for this position.
