Job summary

Emerus in Pennsylvania seeks an experienced registered nurse to assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in a telemetry/ICU setting. You will provide proficient nursing care, follow physician orders, and ensure patient privacy while maintaining high infection-control standards.

Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma, RN license, 2+ years of ICU/Telemetry experience, BLS/ACLS, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma is required.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions is required.
• Minimum 2+ years of full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related healthcare positions.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• English fluency in written and spoken communication.
• Pennsylvania RN Act 33/Act 73 clearances must be obtained before start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care as the primary nurse.
• Follow physician orders in delivering nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques in patient care.
• Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Assemble equipment and supplies for diagnostic or treatment procedures.
• Ensure care aligns with nursing standards and Board of Nursing regulations.
