Job summary

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) for inpatient care in Gloucester. Band 5, permanent contract, 37.5 hours per week, with early, late and night shifts. Salary £32,073–£39,043 per annum.

You will serve as named nurse, develop care plans, assess mental state, administer medications and collaborate with the MDT to deliver high-quality, person-centred care within a busy acute mental health service.

Qualifications

• Evidence of continued professional development
• Experience in inpatient or residential settings
• Knowledge of Early Intervention, Primary Care, Recovery, CRHT approach and social inclusion

Responsibilities

• Work as named nurse with responsibility for assessment of care and health education needs
• Develop, implement and evaluate care plans with service users and carers
• Undertake mental and behavioural state examinations weekly and manage risk plans
• Assist with personal care needs as outlined in the care plan
• Liaise with other agencies and participate in Multi-Agency meetings
