Job summary

Fortius Clinic is seeking an experienced Inpatient Physiotherapist to deliver evidence-based care within the Orthopaedic service. The role entails managing a patient caseload, providing assessments and treatment plans, and facilitating safe discharge post-operatively.

You will collaborate with the Therapy Manager and Inpatient Physiotherapy Lead, participate in weekend rotations, and maintain compliance with HCPC and CSP guidelines while contributing to service improvements.

Qualifications

• Physiotherapy Degree with HCPC and CSP registration, minimum of 2 years qualified.
• Orthopaedic or surgical specialist education with evidence of CPD attendance.

Responsibilities

• Be professional, legally responsible and accountable for your own work including patient management.
• Ensure high standard of clinical care and manage own caseload in inpatient and pre-assessment settings.
• Undertake comprehensive assessment of patients to formulate treatment plans.
• Facilitate safe discharge home and assess for equipment or rehabilitation needs.
• Communicate with Therapy Manager and Inpatient Physiotherapy Lead; participate in supervision.
• Participate in weekend rota system and flexible shifts across Fortius Wings.
• Maintain clinical development and share evidence-based practice with colleagues.
• Comply with IPC requirements and maintain safe, clean physiotherapy environment.
