Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust in Hinckley is seeking a Band 6 Inpatient Physiotherapist working at Hinckley and Bosworth Community Hospital to deliver rehab within Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland after acute admission. You will join a friendly MDT to provide safe, evidence-based therapies and supervise colleagues as needed.

Role requires BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy and HCPC PIN, with leadership, communication and flexibility.

Qualifications

• Hold a full BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy.
• HCPC registration PIN.
• Have relevant experience working in healthcare as a qualified Occupational Therapist.
• Have leadership skills.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Be able to provide flexibility to meet the needs of the service.

Responsabilités

• Build a strong rapport with patients and deliver high quality occupational therapy based on individual goals.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and also independently when appropriate.
• Communicate clearly with patients, relatives and carers.
• Provide supervision and training to staff as required.
• Stay up to date with current evidence and implement service-wide.
• Carry out moderate to intense physical effort throughout the day.
